Pre-Launch and Giveaway!

Thanks for stopping by for The Redefined Mama’s first post! I hope this becomes a place of authentic encouragement for all mamas, especially you mamas with littles, to live our lives in the confidence and freedom God has for us.

It’s too easy to find ourselves stuck in fear, comparison and lack of direction in the midst of motherhood.

A few years into being a mama, I found myself in that dark place. Not intentionally, but you see that was the problem. I often tackled my days with my own strength and without much focus. I lived for nap time, then bedtime, or any time not being needed by my sweet babies, so I could just “recharge”. I had a good excuse, with three under three at the time and a fourth on the way. But that constant mindset was unhealthy.

I complained to myself a lot. Okay, to my husband, too if I’m being completely honest. I adopted the belief that every one else had their life together but me. How could I feel so filled with love and joy for my kids? And yet feel so drained, steered by fear and left with little confidence that God loved me for more than just my ability to mother my kids?

I wanted freedom. To truly enoy my kids. To play and be present with them. Not caring what anyone around me thought. To be a joyful, confident mom who could naturally pass that confidence on to them. And long story short? (I’ll save that for more blog posts!) God delivered me from a place of fear to a place of freedom. So I could serve and love better. More. That journey is how this blog came to be. I actually created it a year ago, and am just now publishing it. But it’s been stirring in my heart for 5 years! Scary, but exciting. And I know now is the right time to share my journey.

To encourage you and any other mamas in that same place I was. There is freedom to be found, to be claimed! And your current stance of motherhood can also be redefined!

SO, enough with the heavy stuff! Let’s have some fun! Since this blog’s purpose is to encourage other mamas, I’m kicking it off with a giveaway! I love a hot cup of coffee to get my butt into gear most days, and I equally enjoy a “Target run” by myself. I’m guessing there’s a few of you out there who might enjoy the same. I mean, just taking a guess there! So, I’m giving away a $25 Target or Starbucks card to one of you! Over the next few days before the official launch, I’ll give you different ways to enter. Check back tomorrow for another chance!

To enter TODAY, click below to “like” The Redefined Mama on Facebook and check out the other options to enter. Rafflecopter will track your entries and choose a random winner. The winner will be announced Saturday! (You must be 18 years of age and a resident of the US with a valid email address to win.)

Share this with any mamas you know because I can assure you, we all need encouragement in motherhood, and maybe a few free cups of coffee! 😉 I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you, sweet friends!

  1. Ahh! Jenna I am SO excited for this! I love your fb posts and I am looking forward to seeing the way God uses you ❤️ Love you!

  2. If I had a whole day to myself I’d get a lot of cleaning done, go to Starbucks and not spend $20 buying all the family drinks, relax, read and sleep!

  3. If I had a whole day to myself I would MOP THE WHOLE HOUSE and enjoy it staying clean for more than two seconds (it’s currently covered in a box of cereal just dumped and a box of Kleenex just emptied while I was on the phone for 15 minutes…) I’m so excited for your blog!!!

    1. Thank you, Brooke! Oh man, I am with you! I’d also clean my glass doors covered with fingerprints. Haha!!

  4. I can’t start reading your blogs (even thought I don’t have kids lol)! I am so excited that you are doing this!

  5. Way to shine your light Jenna! Your writing and words are encouraging and Lord knows our worlds needs authentic love, always.

May God bless your ministry and through you, touch many hearts.
